Fiankonya (GAR), Sep 1, GNA - Mr Richard Adjah Tettey, Aspiring Assemblyman for the Odumse Electoral Area, has uged the electorate to vote massively for him in the District Level Elections, to enable him bring development into the community.

Mr Tettey said when voted into power, he would also ensure that there was always unity in the community, and that he would also target youth employment.

He made the call when he in collaboration with Men's Health Foundation, organized free medical screening at Fiankonya, near Dodowa in the Shai-Osudoku District of the Greater-Accra Region.

He said the health of the people in the community was paramount, and that the free health screening was a way of contributing his quota to health development.

Mr Tettey urged Ghanaians to always go for frequent medical screening to detect diseases, since early detection was less expensive to treat.

He mentioned some of the needs of the community as water, market, health post, police station and roads.

The aspiring Assemblyman urged the youth in the community to desist from the temptation of being used to cause chaos.

Dr Raphael Nyakotey Obu, Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, urged the community to patronize free medical screening to ensure that they stayed health at all times.

He urged them to always seek medical care from qualified health practitioners, instead of resorting to self-medication.
