11 Weeks, 12 Movies: Rs 100 cr each: Will They, Won't They?

The only movie that is a hot contender is KOCHADAIYAAN. It has Rajnikant and Deepika Padukone, making it a sure-shot blockbuster. I'm unsure of others as big budget starry projects r biting the dust till now. Two experimental small budget films stand a good chance for their novel subject and innovative presentation. Anyways, it is the last quarter. The first three quarters hasn't produced any exceptional result and've fared lesser than 2012. Hope 2013 ends decently. Salman Khan may release his JAI HO on December 25. So, there is hope.

The posters of RAMLEELA and DHOOM 3 are copies of Hollywood flicks. Just shows the preparation. And for the lead pairs, it is just one big holiday of fun. It is this 'who cares' attitude that should make the public beware to spend their money on worthy movies instead of being duped. No star can guarantee an initial or a hit. An initial is got through wider solo release. And if there is good content, public laps it up to make it a blockbuster. So where comes the 'star'? They r just like jhamure to attract the gullible viewers to the cinema halls to spend the money and watch Hollywood copies that strike no familiarity with the viewer. Case in point is BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG, GRAND MASTI and AASHIQUI 2. No big stars but public-catering content that went down well with the paying public. They stand out in the Top 10 List. Small good content movies and new young actors r the sole hope of Hindi Cinema.
