Corrupt NDC officials 'chop' 4.5 million eurobond- Asamoah Boateng
Former Information Minister, Stephen Asamoah Boateng has accused the Mills administration of spending the 4.5 million dollar Eurobond which was earmarked for the construction of the Kotokuraba market before the exit of the NPP administration.
He has therefore thrown a challenge to the Mills government to produce the money.
"NDC claim they are going to do it now, at the tail end of their being kicked out; they are not going to finish and I believe that are just using it for political gymnastics.
“They rather spent the money on themselves and chop money; they are stealing the money. A bunch of corrupt group of people whose only interest is to come and rape the country.
“They have shown clearly that they are not interested in the welfare of the Ghanaian,” he alleged in an interview with Joy News.
But the Deputy Regional Minister Aquinas Tawiah Quansah says the NPP will do the country a lot of good if they could be point where the money was kept.
“There was nothing like money is being left. Look at the Mankessim market. What happened? If there is money left for the Mankessim market I wouldn't be hustling trying to find money to fix the floors of the market.
“We need to be truthful to Ghanaians. They should come out and tell us how they spent the 750,000 million euro bond they are talking about.
