Asuboi (E/R), April 5, GNA – The management of Purity International School is raising pigs to support provision of facilities for the school to help reduce financial burden on parents and the school.

The school, which has branches at Asuboi and Sowatey, has a total intake of 350 children from kindergarten, primary through Junior Secondary School.

Mr. Isaac Adoah, the headmaster of the branches, told the Parent/Teacher Association (PTA) meeting at Asuboi in the Suhum Kraboa Coaltar District that in view of the fact that the school was operating in a poor community, there was the need for the management to be innovative.

Mr. Adoah noted that most of the parents are poor farmers and hardly pay their children's fees, thus compelling the look for other sources of raising funds.

Despite the inability of some parents to pay their fees promptly, he said, it is proper for them to provide their children's school needs to enable them enjoy learning.
