At long Last....The Election is Over

Let me use this opportunity to congratulate all Ghanaians for the manner they conducted themselves before and after the 2008 general elections. it is all over, and come January 7 the President elect will be sworn into office to manage the affairs of our country Ghana.

it is undoubtedly clear that Ghanaians are looking forward to the President Elect to implement policies that would help improve their living standards as it has always been.
Allow me to caution all Ghanaians that, if everyone do not embrace the new regime with a sense of Patriotism and hardwork, no matter what policies will be put in place things will be the same.

if you are a Ghanaian living in Ghana, then the question you should ask yourself is " What can I do for my country" Politicians will continue to wear their Suits and Tie and travel over the world to attract foriegn investors, but when the investors come what will your contribution be?.
Until the Ghanaian civil servant stop leaving his/her post before it is time, the country will never catch up with the developed world that we are chasing.
Until those who are placed as stewards over state machinery stop pilfering, no new or extra policy from any Government will work.
Before the 7th January, I would advice every Ghanaian irrespective of your background to reflect on what you can contribute to help build mother Ghana.
if the rain can stop the Trained teacher or the security person from going to his/ her post but however expects to be paid at the end of the Month, then God should help us.

The same Ghanaian who feels ashamed to clean the streets of his own country with broom or brush but then travels overseas to do same kind of Job must have a change of mentality.
The Old adage says"Brighten the Corner Where you are".
Let all those who sit under shade trees with polished native sandals playing Oware find something productive to do than demanding unenployment benefit that the economy of Ghana can not meet now.

To the president Elect, "Obi fom Kum a, obi n'fom n'dwa" please endeavour to do the right thing the First time.
