Laryea (far left) wants more for Hearts English side Portsmouth are on the verge of reaching a collaboration deal with Hearts of Oak over the transfer of young players.

 

The deal will see players from the youth side of Hearts travel to hold trials end of the season trials with Pompey.

 

The successful players from Auroras will sign a contract with Portsmouth even though Hearts must improve the structures at its youth side.

 

The tentative deal was reached after Portsmouth completed the signing of youngster Torric Jibril from Hearts of Oak.

 

"We have managed to broker a reciprocal agreement between Hearts and Portsmouth which will benefit the Ghanaian club in future," Joel Laryea, the Fifa players' agent, who brokered the deal told Ghanasoccernet.

 

"Hearts need to improve structurues at Auroras like scouting, nutrition and coaching to ensure that good quality player come through."

 

Torric joined Portsmouth on Monday after signing a three-year deal.

 

Hearts have produced some of the best youth players for Ghana including Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah.
