Workers of Jescan Construction Limited, contractors on the renovation of the Presidential Dais at the Independence Square, in Accra, have been very busy on the job, which according to the assistant supervisor of the Company, William Living Waters, is about 95 per cent complete.
He told the Times that the project, which started last September, would be completed early enough for the celebration.
He mentioned the sealing of all cracks in the dais, painting and refurbishment of eight public stands and replacement of their roofs with new ones, as some of the work so far done on the project.
In addition, he said, four existing toilets have been refurbished, and two new ones provided.
