Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, believes the Black Stars have what it takes to make a strong impact at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

With Ghana currently in camp ahead of their opening Group L fixture against Panama on June 17, he says preparations have given him confidence that the team can compete with the best nations at the tournament.

Despite Ghana being considered outsiders by many football analysts, the Sports Minister insists the Black Stars are capable of defying expectations and making the nation proud on football's biggest stage.

The team continues its final preparations as anticipation builds ahead of their World Cup opener.
