Development Bank Ghana (DBG) is planning to deploy approximately $600 million in investment within the agricultural value chain over the next five years, with support from the Ministry of Finance and development partners.
The initiative forms part of the bank's strategic vision to strengthen Ghana's agriculture sector, boost productivity, and support agribusiness development.
Officials say the investment builds on DBG's achievements over its first five years of operations and is aimed at expanding access to financing across key agricultural segments.
The move is expected to enhance food security, create jobs, and support long-term economic growth through a more robust agricultural value chain.
