Former Chief Executive Officer of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Sedina Tamakloe Attionu, has returned to Ghana following her extradition from the United States to serve a ten-year prison sentence imposed by the Accra High Court.
She was convicted in 2024 on charges including causing financial loss to the state and stealing.
Her return marks the enforcement of the court's ruling after legal processes involving extradition from the United States were completed.
Authorities are expected to proceed with the necessary steps to ensure she serves her sentence in Ghana.
