Trailblazing Native American politician on her new book, and run for New Mexico Governor

Former Interior Secretary Deb Haaland has made history with a series of firsts. She was one of the first Native American women elected to Congress and later became the first Native American to serve in a Presidential Cabinet when she served under President Biden. Last week, Haaland won the Democratic nomination for Governor of New Mexico. If elected, it would make her the first Native American woman to be elected Governor. The trailblazing politician joins Morning Joe to discuss her campaign, and her new memoir, titled: “A Voice Like Mine.”
