Several acres of farmland in the Effutu Municipality of the Central Region have been submerged following the overflow of the Ayensu River.

The flooding has affected farming communities including Atekyedo, Gyahadze, Osubonpanyin, and surrounding areas.

The incident has left large portions of cultivated land underwater, raising concerns about crop losses and the livelihoods of affected farmers.

Residents are calling for support as authorities assess the extent of the damage caused by the flooding.
