How are China-DPRK ties evolving?

According to Li Jun, Director of the Institute of Asia-Pacific and African Studies at the Party School of the CPC Central Committee (National Academy of Governance), the new development of China-DPRK relations has transcended the traditional logic of military alliances and represents a new paradigm in international relations.

He said the core of China-DPRK relations lies in pursuing common development and joint construction, rather than engaging in confrontation against others.
