‘Sucks for democracy’: Jim VandeHei on GOP election fraud claims

President Donald Trump and GOP leaders including House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-L.A., and Sen. Ron Johnson, R-W.I., are spreading false claims of election fraud in the Los Angeles mayoral race after Democrat Nithya Raman overtook the Trump-endorsed ex-reality star Spencer Pratt. “This is the stuff you see in a broken country,” Axios co-founder and CEO Jim VandeHei tells Morning Joe, adding that false election fraud claims “weaken the soul of the country.”
