German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has come under fire for allegedly comparing climate activists to Nazis. Campaigners heckled him at a recent panel discussion where he was talking about the mining jobs lost in the country's coal phase out. Germany is planning to end coal-fired power by 2030. A government spokeswoman called the accusations 'absurd' but also couldn't explain what the chancellor meant.
