Saglemi Project: The Curse Of John Mahama And The NDC Thieves--Part I

It is inconceivable that a bunch of people elected to put Ghana on the map of progress and development rather ended up putting her in reverse gear sending her to the abyss of filth, neglect, rot, and bankruptcy. The NDC did not suffice with their evil agenda against Ghana, but went on to make disparaging statements that could be compiled into a book of shame!

Eventually, investors wound up their businesses and left; others took to their heels before bringing a dime into the coutry; some just took the smite of NDC's incompetence and became sitting ducks until Nana Akufo-Addo was given the helm of affairs to steer the nation out of the dumpster that John Mahama had thrown Ghanaians into, making it one of the ten fastest growing economies in the world, and recognisably the most efficient hub for clamouring investors who are now fighting for an opportunity to anchor their businesses in.

One of the curses of John Mahama is the Saglemi Housing Project, for which the then incompetent and fraudulent government of the NDC and her bunch of thieves like Spio Gabrah, Joshua Alabi, Sylvester Mensah, et al, supported massively. What was intended to alleviate the suffering of the ordinary Ghanaian became an albatross around the necks of 30 million citizens.

The NDC government sourced a loan of $200 million US Dollars for the 5000 units to be built under Saglemi. Unfortunately for the nation, the contractor was paid the whole amount with nothing to show for it. Imagine that after having collected their monies, the contractor is ready to hand over just 400 housing units, claiming that 600 were at various levels of completion. However, the other 4000 are non-existent. The contractor claims to be bankrupt and cannot account for the rest of the money.

What sort of nonsense is that!
During the times that John Mahama and his thieves were milking Ghana, the ingrate, Nunoo Mensah, told grumbling Ghanaians to relocate if the kitchen was too hot for them. NDC seems to have defrauded Ghana to the tune of billions of US Dollars, the Saglemi Project being one of the uncountable cases of hard core romping that John Mahama did Ghanaians, painfully!

Ghanaians demand of the special prosecutor to sit up, stop whining, and execute the mandate entrusted to him as a special prosecutor. He knows all too well what went on during the unforgivable days of the treasonable nation wreckers of the NDC. He knows what Dzifa Attivor has done; he knows what Sylvester Mensah has done; he knows very well what Opuni has done; he knows what Duffour has done; he knows what Ibrahim Mahama has done; he knows what Joseph Siaw Agyapong has done; he knows what Joshua Alabi and his MD have done at SSNIT; he knows what Spio Gabrah has done; he knows what Woyome has done; he knows what the rest of the thieves have done.

If he does not move his fat behind to begin the process of confiscations, appropriations, and prosecutions, we will demonstrate against his seeming nonchalance and lack of zeal to deal with the issues of corruption as he is expected to. You cannot prosecute a hungry Ghanaian who stole a few ears of corn and jail him for years, rendering his children orphans, when there are “darker than death” thieves walking freely about, defying authority and issuing challenges to government because they think that the special prosecutor is a puppet of JJ Rawlings, who is perceived to be using Martin Amidu as a wand to reel in the renegade NDC party members to kowtow to him in a manner of recapturing the party and controlling it 100%.

My prayer is that the offenders like the Saglemi Project Contractor and the NDC thieves who perpetrated and seconded the blatant thievery of Ghana's resources will be found guilty of treason and shot to death. They intentionally removed the firing squad from the range at Teshie, thinking it cannot be re-erected to bring back to life that point of death they shudder will be their last point of breath. All foreign contractors who were brought in to help loot the State should be given life sentences and made to eat raw kenkey and gari, a far cry from the comfort that Ghana's money will give them ion their hometowns.

At this juncture, let me take the opportunity to call for a major investigation into the recent money laundering scandal that rocked the country, which the Police seem to have covered up rather foxily, issuing statements that smack of gross contempt and willful assassination of the nation as a whole by assisting the thieves involved.
