Ningo (GAR), Feb. 6, GNA - Nene Kanor Attiapa, acting President of the Ningo Traditional Council has advised the youth to show civility in their dressings.

He said it was unpleasant for the youth, especially the ladies to expose certain parts of their body when appearing in public.

Nene Attiapa gave the advice in an interview with the Ghana News Agency.

He said the youth should erase the erroneous idea that at 18 years and above they were of age and equal to their parents and that they could handle their lifestyles anyhow.

He said: 'Wearing short dress to expose offensive parts of the body is not the culture of an African lady likewise young men and boys lowering their trouser to expose their buttocks.'

The acting President asked the youth not to be lured by some bad foreign cultures that would lead them to do wrong things, adding that 'these days a young man will be seen occupying a sit in a bus whilst an elderly person will be standing.'

He said all such behaviours were against the teachings of the Bible and called on the pastors to preach against them and stop propagating falsehood that creates enmity between the children and their parents and families.
