Charles Taylor of Accra hearts of Oak is Ghana's best goal getter. The 21 year old will be arriving in Gothenburg from Zurich for a one week training camp with the Gothenburg club IFK Gothenburg on Sunday. Charles left Ghana to Zurich amidst misunderstandings between him and his club Hearts over a transfer feud with lokal rivals Asante Kotoko. Kotoko is offering Charles a house and a VW Golf car to leave Hearts for Kotoko but alas! with a three year contract looming with Hearts there is no way Hearts would let go their golden boy to the rivals.
Meanwhile, Charles is reluctant to return to Hearts hence seeking greener pastures in Europe, the Mecca of football. IFK Gothenburg maintains however, that the boy is too good to stay with Gothenburg for any length of time. That said, Gothenburg would love to have him as the new Swedish football season begins soon, the fight for the 21 year old however is between Gothenburg and Zurich which has already offered Hearts some 200 000 dollars.
Whichever way it goes Hearts will be filling their pockets and Kotoko would have to look on as spectators.
