48-Mali break into the box and John Mensah goes in with a sliding tackle and stops the attack. Afful is on the break and finds Amoah who wastes it.

7- Ghana wins a free-kick from 35-yards and Essien strikes it but misses. What a moment for the Malians. They were left shocked by that strike.

Four hours ago, Ghanasoccernet exclusively brought you the starting line-up for tonight's game with head coach Milovan Rajevac handing youngsters Opoku Agyeman and Kwadwo Asamoah their first startingroles in a Black Stars shirt.

Ghana are seeking to cement their top spot in Group D with another win over the Eagles of Mali.

Rajevac has chose Wigan goalkeeper Richard Kingson between the sticksand will be shelved by John Mensah and Eric Addo as the centre-backs.

John Paintsil and Harrison Afful will man the right and left wing backs.

Michael Essien, Anthonhy Annan,  Kwadwo Asamoah, Opoku Agyemang and Prince Tagoe and Mathew Amoah will partner in attack.

On the bench, George Owu, Joetex Frimpong, Moussa Nary, Junior Agogo, Isaac Vorsah and Haminu Draman.

Four players missed out on the final 18; Samuel Kyere, Jonthan Quartey, Ernest Papa Arko and Bernard Yao Kumordzi.
