FORMER PLAYMAKER of Ghana's Black Stars, Alex Nyarko, is delighted at re-launching his soccer career, in Switzerland, after almost 18 months' absence in competitive soccer.
Nyarko is apparently, on trials with a Swiss premier side, FC Lausanne. According to FC Lausanne's coach, Gerard Castella, the playmaker has passed physical tests.
“But we see that, he has not been playing for a long time." Nyarko will not join the team over the week-end, in Leysin,” the coach hinted.
“I would like to see him next week, especially in the friendly match against Servette Geneve, before taking a final decision.
Nyarko's last stop was in Norway, where he featured in just three games, with IK Start.
He has already absolved medical tests, with FC Lausanne.
