FOR ONCE, the impending national Division One Middle League would benefit from a ¢200 million sponsorship package, from Fun Play Ghana Limited. The company, in an agreement with the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the Division One League (DOL) Board, would brand the Middle League, “Fun Play Middle League”.
Fun Play is expected to provide transportation, officiating fees, accommodation, meals for the six clubs, targeted to compete in the league. Besides, the company would organise the matches, seek publicity, security and independent observers, and added to these, slate an awards night, when the league ended.
Furthermore, the sponsor would provide each club with two sets jerseys of contrasting colours, embossed with its name, as well as the product. Additionally, DOL would allow Fun Play's banners, advertising its products, to be displayed at all the league venues, throughout the league's duration. Among other issues, DOL would give recognition to officers of Fun Play, to market the company's products, at all the venues.
