Breman Gyamera (C/R) Sept. 7, GNA - Mr Justice Mensah, an Accra-based businessman on Tuesday donated a set of Jerseys, 10 footballs and four pairs of boots to Breman United football club, at Breman Gyamera in the Central Region.
Nana Kojo Edutwu, Secretary of the Club received the items worth 20 million cedis.
Mr Mensah, who is a native of the town, said they were his personal contribution towards the promotion of soccer in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District.
Nana Edutwu thanked Mr Mensah for the gesture and said he hoped that other citizens, particularly those staying abroad would emulate Mr Mensah's example.
Breman United, a Second Division football club at Breman Gyamera is among 30 clubs, which have registered in the Central Region Division Two League competition scheduled to commence on September 18, 2005.
