Black Stars vice skipper, Andre Ayew has been named in the preliminary 30-man short-list for the 2016 African Footballer of the Year.

Andre Ayew was outstanding for Swansea City in his debut season in 2015-16, scoring 11 league goals to emerge as the Club's top scorer, which influenced West Ham United to secure his signature at club record signing fee.

Apart from Andre Ayew, no other Ghanaian made the list.
