Triumphant Kwesi Nyantakyi will return home on Friday afternoon after winning one of the two slots available to CAF onto the new FIFA Council.
Nyantakyi finished second with 31 votes; one more than Malagasy Ahmad but seven behind Almamy Kabele Camara from Guinea.
The 47-year-old will touch down at the Kotoka International Airport at 12:30pm on a Egypt Air flight.
He is expected to be received by hundreds of Ghanaian football fans who are basking in his new role.
