Voting is underway at the CAF's Extra Ordinary General Assembly in Cairo, Egypt, where Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi is facing a key career election today as a candidate for the two FIFA Council seats available for Africa.

The Ghanaian FA leader is seeking to go a notch higher and faces competition from CAF's vice president Almamy Kabele Camara of Guinea,  his counterpart from Madagascar, Ahmad, who uses just a single name, as well as the presidents of the football associations in Niger and Senegal - Hamidou Djibrilla and Augustin Senghor respectively.

Sierra Leone FA President Isha Johansen, who was recently detained at the hands of Anti-Corruption officials, is the only woman in Africa that has a vote today.

She is a close friend to the Ghana FA boss with her vote expected to go straight to the affable lawyer.
