Black Stars goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey has made history by becoming the first Ghanaian to win 3 league titles on two different continents.

Adam Kwarasey  and his Rosenborg team won the Tippeligaen in Norway, the club's 24th league title.

The Ghana star had already won the Tippeligaen in 2013 when he captained Stromgodset to a shock title win before departing for Major League Soccer's Portland Timbers with whom he claimed another title in 2015. READ MORE: Angry Drogba clashes with fan in New York

Kwarasey and his team needed just a draw to secure the league title in their game against Molde.

Home team Molde started the game on the high foot scoring the first goal on the half hour mark but Rosenborg came back to score three goals to secure a 3-1 win as they were crowned champions of Norway.
