The 2016 CAF Confederation Cup final will be between Congolese giants TP Mazembe and Algerian club MO Bejaia

The Ravens advance to their second ever Confederation Cup final, after their maiden appearance in 2013, thanks to Roger Assale's away goal in their 1-1 first leg semi-final draw last weekend.

The second leg, played on Sunday afternoon in Lubumbashi, was a tightly contested affair but the Congo Brazzaville side managed to hold on for a crucial 0-0 draw.

A 90th minute away goal from Faouzi Rahal for MO Bejaia in their Caf Confederations Cup, second leg semifinal against FUS Rabat saw them into the final of the continental competition.

The second leg encounter ended 1-1 at the Stade Moulay Abdallah in Rabat on Sunday night, with the MO Bejaia progressing after the first leg match ended 0-0 last weekend in Algeria.

The first half was a rather dull affair with both teams squandering chances in front of goal due to some woeful shooting or poor decision making.

Consequently, the first half ended goalless.
The start of the second half saw the home side taking control, but they struggled to break down the MO Bejaia’s stubborn defence.

Nonetheless, FUS Rabat pushed forward and were rewarded for their efforts in the 74th minute when Mohamed Nahiri found the back of the net, 1-0.

The Moroccan side looked to have the match all wrapped-up until a 90th minute goal from Faouzi Rahal turned the tie on its head as the game ended 1-1, a result which favoured the Algerian team.
