Al Qadsia defender Rashid Sumaila insists he is focused on the Kuwait Super Cup clash with Al Kuwaiti this evening at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.
In what is dubbed repeat or revenge, Sumaila is geared up for the clash which they lost last season to the same Al Kuwaiti side.
In 2015, Al Qadsia won the Kuwaiti FA Cup while Al Kuwaiti won the Kuwait Premier League but the latter were triumphant in the Super Cup clash.
The story is different this time as Al Qadsia won the 2016 Kuwaiti Premier League while Al Kuwaiti won the Kuwaiti FA Cup.
Sumaila who was voted the best foreign player in Kuwait at the end of last season says he is personally focused on the game and his team mates are ready.
"I am focused on the game and my team mates are also ready. We won the league last season and would like to add the Super Cup trophy to our cabinet.
"Our fans are ready and we can't disappoint them," Rashid Sumaila said.
Al Qadsia met Al Kuwaiti thrice last season and all games ended in draws which makes tonight's encounter the clash of the titans.
