Stop-gap skipper of the Black Stars Emmanuel Agyemang Badu says Ghana is ready for the clash against Russia tonight insisting they know a lot about the Golden Eagles.

The Udinese midfielder adds that Jonathan Mensah and Rabiu Mohammed have spoken a lot about the Russian side and Ghana will not expect an easy opponents.

'We know Russia is hosting the World Cup in 2018 and we know they will want to play for the fans and their new coach.

'They will come all out for a win and we are prepared for that,' Badu told pressmen in Russia.

'We've heard a lot about the Russia national team. Two of our colleagues are now playing in Russia; Jonathan and Rabiu.

'Wakaso also played here and they have told us a lot about the Russians and we are ready for them,' he added.

Ghana is playing Russia as part of preparations for the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Uganda which starts next month.

The game will be played at 19:00 GMT in Russia which is 16:00 GMT in Ghana.
