On 29th August, 2011, Asante Kotoko announced Maxwell Konadu as the coach of Asante Kotoko, following the sack of Bogdan Korak
'Mr Maxwell Konadu has been appointed as the senior team coach of the club,' an official statement from Kotoko read.
Maxwell Konadu, until his appointment was the assistant of Korak.
The 51-year-old Serbian was fired on Monday, 29th August after months of speculation about his future.
He was given U$25,000 as compensation for his dismissal as he had fifteen months remaining on his contract.
Korak, who took over from Ebo Mends in February 2011 came under intense pressure especially after their President's and FA Cup defeats to Berekum Chelsea and Nania FC respectively.
