Accra, Aug 25, GNA - Talented teenage striker Gabriel Darko, has signed a two year deal with Albanian second-tier side Dinamo FC.

Young Darko caught the attention of European scouts after his impressive outing in the just ended annual invitational tournament in Anfield, Liverpool, which was organized by Standard Chartered Bank.

Darko, who played for the Ghana Under-17 team, caught the attention of scouts with his impressive goal scoring rate after he scored eight goals in five games to catch the attention of the Albanian club.

According to his Manager, the young Ghanaian talented forward was sort after by many scouts but had to settle for the Albanian club to continue with his development.

Darko who dropped out of the Ghana U17 team in 2011 due to injury was also part of the Ghana U20 team in 2014, and scored twice in a friendly game.

Darko is well remembered for his impressive outing in a premier league game between Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko, where he featured for the phobias, who were then under the tutelage of coach David Duncan.

The diminutive attacker is also well remembered for missing a glorious opportunity that could have given Hearts the lead.
