Gockel Ahortor: Inter Allies midfielder on trials at Danish side Viborg FF

Inter Allies workaholic midfielder Gockel Ahortor is undergoing trials at Danish top-flight side Viborg FF, the club has confirmed.

Ahortor who after helping his side to secure a 2-2 drawn game with Dwarfs at the Tema Sports Stadium in a Premier League game last Wednesday left the shores of Ghana to Denmark the following day (Thursday).

'Viborg FF has been visited by Ghanaian midfielder Gockel Ahortor who will train with the club in the next few weeks. Ahortor 19 years and central midfielder plays daily in the domestic league for Inter Allies FC. He has this season played 21 matches and scored seven goals.

'Gockel Ahortor has had a lot of youth caps for Ghana, and is currently part of the U23 national team of Ghana,' said a statement at the Danish club's website.

Ahortor in the ongoing campaign is joint top scorer for Inter Allies with Frederick Boateng and his side are battling relegation in the Ghana Premier League as they are 15 on the log sheet with 28 points with four games left to be played.
