Ghanaian players abroad featured for their respective clubs over the weekend. Kwadwo Asamoah made a return, Jordan Ayew failed to find the back of the net, Albert Adomah recorded his first Premier League win and more.

Jeffrey Schlupp missed out on Leicester City's goalless draw game against Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday. The Ghanaian had been a subject of transfer interest for West Bromwich Albion going into the game against Arsenal. Schlupp who missed Leicester City's opening day loss against Hull City was once again not named in the match day squad.

Ghanaian player Daniel Amartey was named on the bench but could not come on in the game against Arsenal.

Christian Atsu was not named in the Chelsea squad that won away from home against Watford in the English Premier League.

Albert Adomah made a substitute appearance for Middlesbrough in their English Premier League game against Sunderland on Sunday.
