Ashanti Gold goalkeeper Fatau Dauda was not included in Black Stars latest squad to face Rwanda in the last 2017 Africa Cup Nations qualifier.
The 2014 world Cup goalie made a return, replacing injured Kwarasey, to the team for the last match against Mauritius.
But with the return of Kwarasey and the emergence of Wa All Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori, Dauda is now down the pecking order.
Dauda has been capped 25 times by Ghana national football team.
The Black Stars will host of Rwanda next month at the Accra Sports Stadium with qualification already sealed.
