Eleoenai Tompte touted 'next Samuel Eto'o' after brace for SPAL Ferrera in pre season

Enterprising young striker Eleoenai Tompte continued his rise to stardom today, scoring twice for SPAL Ferrera in a 6-0 win over Tarvisio.

The goals came in the 28th and 29th minutes, one with a shot on the fly and the other on the break.

The youngster is gradually been touted as the next big striking thing following his impressive outings for SPAL Ferrera's Primavera.

One coach said he is convinced the 17-year old product of Livelife Academy in Accra will be ''the next Samuel Eto'o''.

Tompte is in SPAL with compatriot Mawuli Eklu who had his own time yesterday, playing 45 minutes in a 2-0 friendly win over Triestina.

SPAL are currently in Auronzo, an Italian resort town close to the Austrian border, preparing for the new Serie B season.
