Liberty Professionals midfielder Kennedy Ashia, David Oduro and Peter Oduro Kwarteng are set to join Lebanese side Athletic club of Tripoli, GHANAsoccernet.com has gathered.

Following an unsuccessful stay in Sudan with Al Hilal FC, the Liberty Professionals midfielder returned to the Ghana Premier League side for the second round 2015/16 season.

But reports are that he has been contacted by the Lebanese side and the former Liberty captain will soon leave.

Ashia will be joining AC Tripoli together with fellow Ghanaians David Manuel Opoku and Peter Oduro Kwarteng.

The trio are reported to have reached an agreement with the Lebanese giants hence expected to sign a deal for the upcoming season.

Opoku, 24, will also be signing for the Lebanese side following his outstanding performance for Al Egtmaaey Tripoli where he scored 11 goals last season.

Peter Oduro Kwateng will also be joining the AC Tripoli from Egyptian side Aswan.

The trio will be adding to the tall list of Ghanaians players in the Lebanese league including Michael Helegbe and Yusif Abdul Aziz.
