JUL 25, 2016 LISTEN

Ebusua Dwarfs head coach Prosper Narteh has insisted that his charges should have won against AshGold following the 1-1 stalemate at the Len Clay Stadium on Saturday.

Alhaji Mustapha opened the scoring for the visitors in the first half with a stupendous strike from Shafiwu Mumuni cancelling the lead to restore parity.

And the University of Ghana PE tutor who took over the team at the beginning of the second round of the league insists his side missed the opportunity of stealing the three points from Obuasi.

'We played very. We went under pressure at the beginning of the game but we handled it well. We came back stronger and fetched the opener before they equalized,' he said after the game.

'My boys could have still won the game but I am satisfied with the point.

Dwarfs have had a very impressive outing in the second round of the league with three wins two loses and a draw under Prosper Narteh.
