Ghana's Right to Dream Academy have been eliminated from the 2016 Gothia Cup.

The young Ghanaian academy side lost on penalties to Swedish side Helsingborg.

The defending champions could not break their opponent as the game headed into a shoot-out.

The Swedish side enjoyed the last laugh as they reigned supreme to end Right to Dream's pursuit of title defence.

Right to Dream is a registered charity organisation that mainly recruit boys and girls from unprivileged families.

They come to the academy when they are 10-12 years old and then they receive training both in school and on the pitch.

The goal is to get those around 18yrs professional contract with a foreign club or sports scholarship with paid training.

Currently the academy has a total of 75 boys,  9 girls and about 30 students that study and play football at American universities with full scholarships.
