Ebusua Dwarfs surprisingly blasted Asante Kotoko by 4-1 to emerge the mid-week club with three of their players making it into the mid-week team.

Bright Lukman and Michael Sarpong hit brace each against Kotoko and Aduana respectively to lead the team while Soulama Abdoulaye denied Berekum Chelsea at least a point at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Coach of the week is Dwarfs head coach Prosper Narteh with 4:1:3:2 as the system for the mid-week.

Soulama Abdoulaye -GK (Hearts): Soulama made six magnificent saves against Berekum Chelsea  to deny them at least a point. He stopped Sadick Adams on three great occasions the striker could have shot the visitors ahead. He won the MVP of the game.

Christopher Bonney (Dwarfs): The former Asante Kotoko right back was superb for Dwarfs. He was instrumental on the flanks and got a goal for his side. His crossing and interceptions were perfect.

Malik Tahiru (New Edubiase): The New Edubiase left back was excellent for the Bekwai-based side. Even though his side failed to pick the maximum three points in the game, Malik was exceptional in his attacking and defensive exploits.

Daniel Egyin (Hasaacas): The Hasaacas captain was adjudged the player of the match in their game with New Edubiase. His organizational qualities were superb and defended very well. He was the reason Hasaacas stole a point from Bekwai.

Robin Gnagne (Hearts): If Hearts have anyone to thank apart from Soulama, it is Robin Gnagne. He was tough in defence and strong on Sadick Adams. He stopped the Chelsea captain in several occasions and organized his defence very well. He led as a leader.

Eli Keke (Dreams FC): The Dreams FC defender was drafted into defensive midfield against Aduana Stars and was excellent. His magnificence in midfield won him the MVP of the game. He was An influential player as he determined the two goals by Dreams FC.

Paul Asare De Vries (Wa All Stars):  Asare did not only win the MVP of the game against Techiman City in Wa, he also scored for his side. He was a major addition to the title contenders and influenced is side positively. His performance did not show a player who has been laid off by injury for a year.

Kwame Boahene (Medeama): Kwame Boahene won the MVP of the game as they registered a 1-0 victory over Liberty Professionals. He was very influential as he took total control of the midfield to dictate the pace of the game. Kwame has been very consistent for Medeama this season.

Bright Lukman (Dwarfs): He scored twice against Asante Kotoko to down the visitors by 4-1. His goals followed in quick succession and he disorganized the defence of the Porcupine Warriors.

Michael Sarpong (Dreams FC): Michael hit the scenes in a remarkable way. He scored twice against title contenders Aduana Stars to hand his side all the three points. He appears a perfect substitute for Lawson Bekui who left after the first round.

Nicholas Gyan (Dwarfs): He won the MVP in the game against Kotoko. He scored the fourth goal to seal the victory for Dwarfs and was a thorn in the flesh for the Kotoko defence.
