League Report Ghana Premier League: Michael Osei hits back Bechem United coach
JUL 20, 2016 LISTEN

Michael Osei has stated Manuel Zacharias' comment about his coaching job is an unfortunate one.

The Portuguese trainer, who is the head coach of Bechem United criticised Michael Osei, after his side held the Porcupine Warriors to a goalless draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium: He stated that Kotoko have the right players to win the league, but the coach needs to change certain things in the team.

His comment didn't go down well with the former New Edubiase United assistant coach and has therefore responded to that.

"I know him (Manuel Zacharias) to be a tough-talking coach, but all what he said about me are bogus and they're nothing to me at all," he told Silver FM

"If he's a good coach, he wouldn't have been in Ghana coaching. If he's to stay in his country, Portugal, he won't even get a fifth division side to coach not to even talk about managing a second-tier club.He has made himself as a controversial person who always tries to provoke his opponents with useless and nasty antics when playing against them.

"He said when Kotoko is given to him, he will take the club to another level and I don't have to waste my time to worry about this useless comment on my coaching job.

"I'm keeping focus and looking forward to bring back success to my club as things are not going on well for us at the moment,"

New Edubiase United edged out Kotoko from the FA Cup and succeeded in denying them the opportunity to go top of the league table on last week Sunday.
