Amidaus Professionals head coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo has set a three-year target to become the first female to win a silverware in the country.

Tagoe-Quarcoo, ex-Black Queens player and a retired referee, has been in-charge of the second-tier side and before that she was assistant coach in the Premier League.

She is patiently waiting to grab the headlines in the not distant future.

"In my life I don't rush in anything. When I was the assistant coach to Baba Ali during the premiership I was really understudying from the background," she told Starr FM Sports.

"Now I am the head coach, it is up to me to proof to them that women can do it better. So with time, this is my first year as head coach let's wait for maybe next three seasons and see."

Tagoe-Quarcoo is also an officer with the Ghana Fire Service.
