KFC Uerdingen chief executive Nicolas Weinhat has hailed the capture of veteran Ghanaian striker Charles Takyi.
The 31-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the German lower side.
The former Bundesliga star has replaced Mohammadou Idrissou.
He has featured in the side's pre-season friendlies and the club's chief Nicolas Weinhat has been left impressed.
"Charles is a player who has already integrated excellently despite its higher-class past." he said.
The German-born Ghanaian has previously played for Hamburger SV, FC St. Pauli, Greuther Fürth and Energie Cottbus.
