Kotoko confirm striker Kwame Boateng has fully recovered; could face Bechem

Asante Kotoko have confirmed striker Kwame Boateng is available for selection on Sunday against Bechem United after regaining full fitness.

Boateng was sidelined by a foot injury after the first five matches of the season.

His absence robbed Kotoko off some sharpness upfront with the club over-relying on young striker Dauda Mohammed.

"I'm happy to be back. It's been a longtime. Now, I can say I'm back,' Boateng told the club's official website.

"I've thankfully overcome the injury. It wasn't an easy feeling throughout the period; I'm grateful to God that, finally, I'm back to play my role and to contribute to the hard work being done by my teammates."

Boateng joined Kotoko this season from relegated Great Olympics and was named top scorer in the pre-season G6 tournament which the club won.
