The Zimbabwe Football Association [ZIFA] has joined Ghana to mourn the death of former FA President Ben Koufie.
The 84 year old sports legend passed on at the Korle Bu Teaching hospital on after a short illness.
The former Ghana coach and FA Boss served as a technical advisor of the East Africans and is regarded as the one of the greatest administrators who turned around Zimbabwe Football.
And President of the ZIFA Chiyangwa sent his message of condolences to the Ghana Football Association upon the death of Ben Koufie.
"The Zimbabwe Football Association has learnt with great consternation and immense sadness of the passing away of Ben Koufie, the former technical advisor of the Zimbabwe Football Association, former Warriors coach, former President of the Ghana Football Association and a legendary coach," Chiyangwa told the association's website.
"Ben Koufie was a great coach with extraordinary coaching skills.
"He worked tenaciously for Zimbabwean Football and the association is saddened by the loss of such an intelligent coach and coaching instructor," he added.
The late Kuofie is hugely recognized for his immense contribution not only in Ghana but in Zimbabwe and Botswana.
