Harrison Afful: My strength is when i am joining the attack

Ghana and Columbus Crew defender Harrison Afful is looking forward to developing his attacking game after recently revealing he is at his best when he joins the attack.

The former Asante Kotoko and former Esperance defender is one of the best ball winners in the MLS this season.

But despite gaining recognition for his defending prowess Afful says he is at his best when he is attacking.

'Attacking is my strength when I join the attack. I really like it because it gives the team options,' Afful said

'I am mostly not too concentrated on tactics though I must admit that tactics is good and an important part of football.'

Harrison joined Columbus Crew last season and helped them to play in the final of the MLS Cup where they lost to Portland Timbers.
