Statistic on match day 17 Sixteen (16) goals were scored on match day 17, after 7 games played. Medeama's league game against WAFA was declared outstanding due to the Tarkwa club's participation in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Aduana Stars were the big winners on match day 17 when the hit three past Dwarfs at Dormaa.

Emmanuel Hayford and Lord Ofushene of Dreams FC and Inter Allies respectively were the first two persons to see a direct red card, following a scuffle between them in their sides 2-2 draw.
