Assistant coach of Hearts of Oak Yaw Preko backed striker Cosmos Dauda to thrive in the Ghana Premier League after his only goal gave the Phobians all three points on Sunday in their clash against Dreams FC.
He also urged fans be patient with the steady progress of the former Mighty Jets striker.
Dauda increased his tally to six in his first season in the top flight with the match winner on Sunday against the flamboyant newcomers.
"Cosmos Dauda is a young upcoming striker. Last season he was playing in Division One so you have to give him some time to develop," he told the press.
"This is the Premiership and it's not easy for a player from Division One and take over like that. He is doing his best.'
The most important thing is putting the ball at the back of net,' he added.
Cosmos lived up to the hype by finding the back of the net again in Hearts 1-1 draw with Liberty Professionals in the week 17 clash on Wednesday.
