Abednego Tetteh, A Player To Watch

If there is a player who has settled so well and playing impactfully in the Ghana Premiership then, it is  Bechem United's Abednego Tetteh.

His predatory instincts give defenders extra work.
That striking quality attracted the attention of Black Stars' coach Avram Grant to pencil him down during the Hearts of Oak- Bechem United game in Accra recently.

Gradually, carving niche as a free-kick expert, the tall striker has so far hit the back of the net five times in the domestic league, eight in all competitions and three assists in the FA Cup.

His employer Kingsley Owusu Achau, in an interview, attributed the player's steady rise to constant rehearsal after matches and training sessions.

“I have realized that he has a huge potential to make it to even beyond the shores of this country, in spite of the fact that he is a premiership debutant, he has power, speed and skill.

“He is the best free-kick taker in the league if I am not exaggerating, I have therefore advised him to keep rehearsing. Big players like Ronaldo, David Beckham and co that is what they do,” said the Bechem United boss.

Tetteh was on target with a spectacular strike in their 2-1 win over Aduana Stars when the league resumed last Sunday in Bechem.
