All is set for the final of this year's Under-13 Milo Champions League following the qualification of 10 public and private basic schools.

The teams will be representing the various regions of the country.

The national final of the Milo Under-13 Champions League is scheduled to come on from tomorrow, June 23 to 25, 2016 at the Paa Joe Park at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi.

Schools that have qualified for the championship are the Sakasaka Primary (Northern Region), Samatigu Presby Primary (Upper West Region), Gani Primary (Upper East Region) and the Fountain Gate International School (Brong Ahafo Region).

Other schools are the Offinso Amoawi (Ashanti Region), St. Philips (Western Region), West Ridge International Primary (Central Region), Tordzinu Primary (Volta Region), Jesus Cares Academy (Greater Accra Region) and last year's winners, the Bepong Methodist Primary from the Eastern Region.

This year's event is built on five core values namely Focus, Determination, Teamwork, Discipline and Respect.

The event, which is expected to attract top management officials from Nestle Ghana Limited, the Ghana Education Service, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ghana Football Association, former national team players, tournament icon, Stephen Appiah and a host of others, would be telecast live on GTV and GTV Sports Plus.

Meanwhile, the Bepong Methodist Primary School, which won the Zone Four event and subsequently the national final contest last year, failed to defend their zone title after losing to Tordzinu Primary from the Volta Region during the meet of the zone.

After a pulsating goalless drawn game, Tordzinu won by 7 goals to 6 in the penalty shootout.

The zone was made up of 12 schools drawn from the Eastern, Volta and Greater Accra regions.
