Accra, Jun 21, GNA - The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), in partnership with its major sponsors MTN Ghana, Activa International Insurance and CDH holdings, will on Wednesday, June 22, organize a press conference to formally introduce SWAG Sports Personality and Footballer of the Year after winning the two most prestigious awards at the just ended 41st MTN SWAG Awards.
A statement from the secretariat said, the event would be held at the at the head office of the MTN at Ridge, in Accra at 12:00pm.
The statement said, the event would afford the headline sponsors and supporting sponsors the opportunity to interact with Ayew, whose award is the flagship category for the prestigious event.
It said, the ceremony will be attended by the head line sponsors and representatives of the various sponsors as well.
According to the statement, Andre Ayew would be joined by his younger brother, Jordan Ayew, after the event to address the press on issues relating to their career at the same venue.
